This site lets you ask an AI assistant about my experience, skills, projects and availability. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the assistant.

AI-generated answers

  • Answers are written by an AI model running on a local server, using notes I wrote. They can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
  • An answer is not an offer, a commitment, a reference or professional advice, and it doesn't bind me to anything. Please confirm anything important with me directly.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • use bots, scripts or scrapers, send questions in bulk, or try to get around the site's protections;
  • try to make the assistant produce harmful, unlawful or misleading content;
  • present the assistant's answers as statements I made without confirming them with me;
  • submit anything unlawful or abusive, or anyone's personal information.

I may limit or block access to the assistant at any time, for example to stop abuse.

Privacy

  • What's logged. Your questions and the assistant's answers are kept for a limited number of days so I can see what people ask and improve my notes. After that they're deleted automatically.
  • Your IP address is stored only in a scrambled, one-way form (a salted hash), never as the address itself.
  • Your chat history is saved in your own browser so it's still there when you come back. "Clear conversation" or clearing your browser's site data removes it.
  • Cloudflare sits in front of this site to block bots and attacks and to run the "are you human?" check. It processes technical data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy.
  • Please don't share sensitive information in your questions.

Availability and no warranty

The assistant runs on a local server, so it's offline whenever that server is. The site and the assistant are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage from using the site or relying on its answers.

Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
